As mentioned earlier in the week, campaign treasurer Kinde Durkee has been accused of defrauding her clients. Durkee is supposed to be released on bond.
Sanchez sent out a message to her supporters earlier this week indicating that she will continue moving forward despite this set back. She’s in a great position to weather this given her incumbent status and how easily she beat Van Tran in the last election cycle.
